Workshop Choir – 6.30pm – 8pm
Our BGG Workshop Choir is open to anyone, regardless of ability, experience, race, religion or sexuality. There is no audition and you don’t need to read music.
All we ask is that you commit to a term of weekly workshops plus extra rehearsals leading to our exciting end of term Grand Concert. This choir has a maximum capacity of 120 members. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and the quality of our performance. We recommend that you bring a recording device to each workshop so you can record the songs and practice later at home.
Performance Choir – 8.15pm – 9.45pm
This choir is for more experienced members of BGG who have been singing for some time and have performed to a high level at our end of term concert. To join, you need to have sung with the Workshop Choir for one term or more. You will also need to pass an audition with our Choir Director or Musical Director.
Entry is dependent on availability and your ability to commit to perform to a high level. The choir has a maximum number of 50 people. The songs, arrangements and choreography are more complex for the Performance Choir so we ask all members to record each session and practice at home. You may also be asked to sing a solo during the workshop.
*Concession Rate: £109, is exclusively offered to Senior Citizens (over 60’s), Students (16 and over) or Unwaged. A form of proof will be required ie: Student Union Card, JSA Letter, Senior Citizen Card etc
